Distinguished members of the Dais, honorable delegates, observers, and staff.

It is an honor to preside over the Second Edition of the Model United Nations of Colegio San José de Barranquilla, CSJBMUN II: "Be the flame that lights the path of others".

Each participant is welcomed to an experience that challenges intellect and sparks the will to be an agent of change.

As Secretary General, gratitude is extended for the opportunity to continue the legacy of the inaugural intercollegiate edition, now enriched by new generations. This model is a rigorous and immersive academic simulation, a space of rigor, fraternity, and integrity where ideas flourish, curiosity is encouraged, and global citizenship grows.

During these days of debate and diplomacy, the hope is to reach meaningful agreements, create innovative solutions, build lasting friendships, and discover new perspectives, honoring the responsibility of representing a world that depends on this generation.

May this model inspire and empower all to "set the world on fire" through brilliance and service.
