CSJBMUN
CSJBMUN II is the Model United Nations conference of Colegio San José de Barranquilla, a student-led academic initiative designed to provide a rigorous, formative, and impactful diplomatic experience. Grounded in the values of service, teamwork, and academic excellence, CSJBMUN II seeks to ensure the highest standards of debate, integrity, and fraternity while fostering leadership and global awareness among students.
Through structured research, debate, and consensus-building, delegates simulate the work of the United Nations and other international bodies, developing essential skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, negotiation, and intercultural understanding. Our goal is not only to train capable delegates, but to form leaders committed to peace, justice, and collective well-being.
Inspired by high-level debate formats such as those used in Harvard Model United Nations, CSJBMUN II emphasizes argument-based debate and inclusive leadership. We believe that true diplomacy is defined not by procedure alone, but by the strength of ideas and by leaders who create spaces for others to grow, speak, and lead. With this vision, CSJBMUN II aims to become a regional benchmark for excellence in MUN conferences in Barranquilla.
Guided by our slogan, "Be the flame that lights the path of the other," CSJBMUN II invites students to understand leadership as service—using words to build peace and actions to inspire change in a complex and interconnected world.
